Rules & Regulations:

1. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest judge(s).

2. Sponsors: The Contest sponsor is Metroland North Media, a division Metroland Media Group Ltd.

3. How to Enter & Eligibility: You must select 50 businesses to be eligible. Entry submissions for the first round commence June 25, 2008. The deadline to submit an entry is July 18th, 2008. Entry submissions for the second round commence August 1st, 2008. The deadline to submit an entry is September 3rd, 2008. The Contest is open to Ontario residents except employees and immediate family members (and/or persons domiciled with) of Metroland.

4. 2 available prizes: Each round will allow voters the chance to win a $300 Gift Card from a business of your choice!

5. General: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the relevant Contest period. All decisions of the Contest judges are final. The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Metroland reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest Rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. Metroland reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Metroland is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries. The winning entry of the first round will be selected by 10am July 18th at The Barrie Advance. The winning entry of the second round will be selected by 10am September 5th at The Barrie Advance. The winning entry will be contacted by phone or email.
